Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy has been prepared in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation — GDPR), Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD), and other applicable data protection legislation. It describes how personal data is collected, used, stored and protected by Oleksii Lemeshchuk, acting under the business name Ukrainian Institute for Personality Disorders Studies (hereinafter referred to as the “Controller”).

  1. The Operator sets as its most important goal and condition for the implementation of its activities the observance of human and civil rights and freedoms during the processing of its personal data, in particular the protection of the rights to privacy, personal and family secrets.
  2. This Operator's policy on the processing of personal data (hereinafter referred to as the Policy) applies to all information that the Operator may receive about visitors to the website https://pd.uipds.org with all subdomains.

Basic concepts used in the Policy
  1. Automated processing of personal data - processing of personal data by means of computer technology;
  2. Blocking of personal data - temporary suspension of processing of personal data (except if processing is necessary to clarify personal data);
  3. Website - a set of graphic and informational materials, as well as computer programs and databases that ensure their availability on the Internet at the network address https://pd.uipds.org with all subdomains;
  4. Personal data information system - a set of personal data contained in personal data databases, as well as information technologies and technical means that ensure their processing;
  5. Depersonalization of personal data - actions that make it impossible to determine, without the use of additional information, the ownership of personal data to a particular User or other subject of personal data;
  6. Processing of personal data means any action (operation) or set of actions (operations) performed with the use of automation tools or without the use of such tools with personal data, including collection, recording, systematization, accumulation, storage, clarification (updating, changing), extraction, use, transfer (distribution, provision, access), depersonalization, blocking, deletion, destruction of personal data;
  7. Operator - a state body, municipal body, legal entity or individual that independently or jointly with other persons organizes and (or) processes personal data, as well as determines the purpose of processing personal data, the composition of personal data to be processed, actions (operations) performed with personal data;
  8. Personal data - any information relating directly or indirectly to a specific or identifiable User of the website https://pd.uipds.org. with all subdomains;
  9. User - any visitor to the website https://pd.uipds.org. and any subdomain;
  10. Provision of personal data - actions aimed at disclosing personal data to a certain person or a certain circle of persons;
  11. Dissemination of personal data - any actions aimed at disclosing personal data to an indefinite number of persons (transfer of personal data) or at familiarizing an unlimited number of persons with personal data, including disclosure of personal data in the media, posting in information and telecommunication networks or providing access to personal data in any other way;
  12. Cross-border transfer of personal data - transfer of personal data to the territory of a foreign state to a foreign government authority, a foreign individual or a foreign legal entity;
  13. Destruction of personal data - any actions as a result of which personal data is destroyed irrevocably with the impossibility of further restoring the content of personal data in the personal data information system and (or) as a result of which material carriers of personal data are destroyed.

  1. Last name, first name, patronymic;
  2. Email address;
  3. Mobile phone number
  4. The site also collects and processes anonymized data about visitors (including cookies) using Internet statistics services (Yandex Metrics and Google Analytics and others).
  5. The above data are further in the text of the Policy united by the general concept of Personal Data.
Purposes of personal data processing
  1. The purpose of processing the User's personal data is to inform the User by sending e-mails.
  2. The Operator also has the right to send the User notifications about new products and services, special offers and various events. The User can always refuse to receive informational messages by sending a letter to the Operator to the e-mail address contact@uipds.org with the note "Refusal to receive notifications about new products and services and special offers".
  3. Anonymized User data collected through Internet statistics services is used to collect information about the actions of Users on the Website, improve the quality of the Website and its content.
Legal Bases for Processing Personal Data
The Controller processes personal data on one or more of the following legal bases:

• performance of a contract or taking steps at the User’s request before entering into a contract;
• the User’s consent;
• compliance with legal obligations applicable to the Controller;
• the Controller’s legitimate interests, including operating and protecting the Website, communicating with Users and improving the services, provided that these interests do not override the User’s rights and freedoms.
Procedure for collecting, storing, transferring and other types of personal data processing
  1. The security of personal data processed by the Operator is ensured through the implementation of legal, organizational and technical measures necessary to fully comply with the requirements of the current legislation in the field of personal data protection.
  2. The Operator ensures the safety of personal data and takes all possible measures to exclude access to personal data of unauthorized persons.
  3. Personal data may be shared with service providers that assist the Controller in operating the Website and providing the services, including website hosting providers, payment service providers, email and communication services, video-conferencing and educational platforms, analytics providers, professional advisers and public authorities where disclosure is required by law. Such recipients receive only the data necessary to perform their functions and must process it in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.
  4. In case of inaccuracies in the personal data, the User may update them independently by sending a notification to the Operator to the Operator's e-mail address contact@uipds.org marked "Updating personal data".
  5. Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, perform the Agreement, comply with applicable legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes and protect the Controller’s legitimate interests. When personal data is no longer required, it will be securely deleted or anonymised.
User Rights

Subject to the conditions established by applicable law, the User has the right to request access to their personal data, rectification of inaccurate data, erasure of data, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing. Where processing is based on consent, the User may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Requests may be sent to contact@uipds.org. The Controller may request information necessary to verify the identity of the person submitting the request.


The User also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos — AEPD) through its official website: https://www.aepd.es, or with the competent supervisory authority in the User’s country of residence.
International Data Transfers
  1. Some service providers used by the Controller may process personal data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, the Controller will ensure that such transfers are based on an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or another lawful transfer mechanism provided by the GDPR.
Final provisions
  1. The User can receive any clarifications on issues of interest regarding the processing of his personal data by contacting the Operator by e-mail contact@uipds.org.
  2. This document will reflect any changes to the Operator's personal data processing policy. The Policy is valid indefinitely until replaced by a new version.
  3. The processing of personal data under this Privacy Policy is governed by the GDPR, the applicable data protection laws of Spain and any mandatory data protection rights available to Users under applicable law.
